Privacy policy

Translation of the German privacy policy. The German version is the legally binding one.

1. Controller

2. Hosting and server logs

This website runs on a server we operate ourselves. The server is located in a data center of Strato GmbH, Berlin. When you visit the website, the server stores in its log files: IP address, date and time, page requested, amount of data transferred, browser and operating system, and the referring page. We process this data to operate the website securely (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). Logs are deleted after 14 days.

3. Contact form and email

When you use the contact form, we send your details (name, email address, message, and optionally company and phone number) by email to info@reporting-online.com. These details are not stored on the web server. Sending goes through the mail server of our provider united-domains AG, Starnberg, Germany. A data processing agreement is in place with united-domains. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (inquiry prior to a contract) or Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (answering inquiries). We keep inquiries as long as needed to handle them, for no more than three years after the last communication.

4. Web statistics with Matomo

We use Matomo on our own server in Germany, without cookies. IP addresses are shortened before storage. We cannot identify individual persons. We record pages visited, country of origin, device type and time on site. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Since nothing is stored on your device, no consent under Section 25 TDDDG is required.

5. No cookies, no third parties

This website does not set cookies. Fonts, scripts and images are served from our own server. No content is loaded from Google, Meta or other third parties.

6. Your rights

You have the right to access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21). Please contact the address above. You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. The competent authority is the Hessian Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information in Wiesbaden, Germany.
